Exam Syllabus

1. English Language: Grammar: Parts of speech, tenses, articles, conjunctions, prepositions, etc. Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases, word meanings, etc. Comprehension: Reading passages and answering questions based on them. Writing: Letter writing, essay writing, precis writing, etc. 2. Stenography: Shorthand Dictation: Candidates may be required to transcribe passages dictated in shorthand. Typing Speed: Candidates should have a good typing speed to transcribe the dictated passages accurately. 3. General Knowledge: Current Affairs: National and international events, sports, awards, etc. Indian Polity: Constitution of India, fundamental rights, duties, etc. Indian History: Major events, freedom struggle, important personalities, etc. Indian Geography: Physical, political, and economic geography of India. General Science: Basic concepts in physics, chemistry, biology, etc. Indian Economy: Basic concepts, economic policies, budget, etc. 3. Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, internet, etc. Typing speed and accuracy in English. 4. Legal Knowledge (Optional): Basic knowledge of Indian legal system, important laws, legal terminology, etc. 5. Interview (if applicable): Candidates may be assessed through a personal interview to evaluate their suitability for the position.
